Nate and Kassie Farr are such a sweet family and I’m so glad to call them my friends. They are so loving and always fun to be around. They are in the process of adopting their second child. This video shows their day-to-day lives so that expectant parents can get to know them a little better.
A note from Nate and Kassie;
“Nate and Kassie met and got married in 2010 (it was 5 months from meeting to marriage! We are that kind of crazy in love! Even, still!). We had talked about adopting while we were dating, so when we found out we wouldn’t have children biologically, our desire to adopt had a purpose!
We got Remi (our dog) in 2012, and our family grew again in 2015 when we adopted Kyrie (our daughter). There were a few moves, cars, college courses, vacations, and a lot of laughs along the way (and most of those things are still happening! Like laughing, vacations, and college courses)! That brings us to now: when we are ready to adopt again! It’s really important to us that we make sure expectant parents know these things about us (so important that this same thing is posted in all of our adoption profiles!), so please make sure you read it over!
We often contemplate the difficulties involved with considering adoption, and we recognize we will never fully understand how you feel reading this. With that in mind, we’d like you to know that we are praying for you, for your future, and for you to feel comfort as you address the needs of you and your family. After all, this is your family, and God trusts you to know what is best!
As we move forward, our lives are an open book. Look through our pages and websites, see if our friends and family are right when they say they like us… and hopefully, you’ll get a few laughs, a bit of comfort, and a sense of support from a family of strangers!
So, now that we’ve made sure you know those things, please also know you can contact us at any time, and we’ll be sure to share our love! We know this has to be a difficult time, so our goal is ONLY to give support to anyone who needs it!
If you (or any expectant parent) thinks we’re a good fit for your family, let us know! If you just need a listening ear or a friend to cry with, you have that in us! (And Kassie is a really good crier, so, definitely take her up on that!)”
