Heartfelt Wedding Created with Love and Friends

Mayra and Felipe didn’t have a lot to spend on their Wedding Day. But this did not stop it from being one of the most gorgeous weddings that I have attended. This couple proves that you don’t need a huge budget to have a fantastic and magical day. All you need is love and a little help from your friends.

Where do you start when planning a wedding? Well you’ve got to have a venue. A space to say your vows and then party until your legs give out. Mayra looked at the venues around Salt Lake City and decided she wanted something unique. So she found and rented an entire home on Airbnb! Talk about creativity!

The couple had loving friends and family that helped them. The bride’s mother designed and created the wedding dress! Marcos, the bride’s brother, performed the ceremony! And the groom’s mother helped with the food and set up. They even had a close family friend pull everything together, Kathy Lewis Event Planning.

Rustic First Look in Alpine Loop

I love that First Looks are becoming more and more popular! But what is a First Look?

A first look is a moment shared between the bride and the groom before the Wedding Ceremony.

Normally, this moment is arranged by a wedding photographer and videographer 😉 and gives the couple a little time away from family and friends.

It is a great opportunity for the couple to take some of the pressure off. It also gives the photographer a chance to get the couple photos done before the ceremony leaving the bride and groom more time to enjoy their special day.

Tip Alert! If you are thinking about doing a First Look consider doing it a couple of weeks before the event so you have some photos, and a video, to use in the reception.
